This is a framed 4" X 6" print of a painting of a Boeing B-29 "Superfortress." The Superfortress was designed for high altitude, strategic bombing and was used during WWII and The Korean War. The "Enola Gay" dropped the first nuclear bomb on Hiroshima on August 6,1945. The painting is detailed and accurately portrays this important US military aircraft. The B-29 has gone through many modifications. The wooden military green colored frame measures 6.5" X 8.5" and has a routered piece for hanging. A mounting screw and a dowel for displaying the frame on a shelf or desk is included.
